Nairobi & Surrounding Areas

As we flew in and out of Nairobi and traveled around Kenya between safari locations, we found the people in general to be kind – many smiles were offered.  The scenery varied between beautiful coffee plantations to slums on the edges of the city.  Among other things we stopped by the Giraffe Center, Out of Africa author Karen Blixen’s house, and met a few mambas (crocodiles) and a few other assorted reptilian critters as well (including snakes, which I will not highlight in pictures here out of respect for my mother).
